A project about New York City, where the focus was to create authentic guides that show the city in a divers perspective – from the travelers point of view. Within every person that visits the city, there is a different New York, viewed through an infinite mixture of culture, giving an unique perspective. It is interesting to see how different people experience a city, so much more interesting than any tourist guide you will find. Why not use that knowledge and share it with the next people who come to the city? A platform was given for people to share their impressions, inspirations or experiences. The best content was chosen and printed in guides that were placed in each borough throughout the city for everyone to read and participate.
A font was created that fits the New York and goes through all of the designs. For the maps, the original New York City map was traced, with inspiration in the geometrical street structure, all streets were traced in blocks, without any curves. The shirts, hoodies and tote bags were hand silkscreened, to give an authentic feel.
