I want to share the results from the first edition of the ED-Awards that concluded with a ceremony in Athens, May 11. The ED-Awards website has been updated with a gallery containing all winning submissions.
The Jury Prize was awarded to the “Gorilla series” created by De Designpolitie i.c.w. Lesley Moore and Herman van Bostelen (NL), while the European Design Hall of Fame distinction (voted for by the design community) was awarded to Erik Spiekermann.
The European Design Awards ceremony was preceded by a three day conference, two workshops and two exhibitions.
Next year’s events will take place in Stockholm.
