The HPSTR Pyramid is an attempt to create an alternative — but native to the digital world — interface, to conventional knobs and slide controls. It’s an approach to have the same basic and generic functionality a knob has but to achieve it with a more natural interaction. The HPSTR Pyramid is a project I made for the Physical Computing course at FH Potsdam. With a strong focus on Musical Interfaces the goal of the course was to develop a fully functioning electronic instrument from concept to implementation. For the full documentation an more information about the Pyramid visit http://incom.org/projekt/3114.
